Guo mentioned that Taiwan's current laws temporarily prevent this, but they will continue to monitor global changes and advancements in nuclear power technology. Guo emphasized the importance of the US as Taiwan's major economic partner and noted the recent increase in tech investments in Taiwan by global tech giants. Despite being unable to restart nuclear power at present due to existing legislation, Guo acknowledged the evolving landscape of nuclear power globally and new manufacturing methods.
