Verizon has appointed Dan Schulman, a board member and former CEO of PayPal, as its new CEO, succeeding Hans Vestberg. Schulman, who has been with Verizon's board since 2018, will take on this role immediately, while Vestberg will act as a special adviser until October 2026, focusing on the transition and the integration with Frontier Communications.
