Vietnam Imposes Steel Tariffs on China Amid Export Surge

Reported about 5 hours ago

Vietnam has announced it will implement anti-dumping tariffs on certain steel imports from China, responding to a significant increase in Chinese steel exports. Set to begin on March 7 and lasting for 120 days, these tariffs range from 19.38% to 27.83%. This move follows similar actions by other countries, including South Korea, and aims to protect local industries impacted by the influx of cheap steel amid China's efforts to boost overseas sales due to domestic construction slowdowns.
