A Vietnamese man, who overstayed in Taiwan after coming as a tourist, was riding a motorcycle when he encountered the police. He tried to evade inspection by speeding through alleys, eventually jumping off the motorcycle while letting it hit a car and then running over 200 meters before he was caught. The man intentionally swerved and weaved to disrupt the police's judgment, even jumping off the motorcycle to escape. Despite resisting, he was eventually subdued and will be handed over to the immigration agency for overstay and must compensate the car owner for damages caused in the incident.
