Walmart's Mexico CEO Ignacio Caride has stepped down after just over a year in the role, surprising market analysts. Cristian Barrientos Pozo, currently the CEO of Walmart Chile and a veteran with 26 years of retail experience, will serve as interim CEO while the company searches for a permanent replacement. Caride's resignation comes amid challenges for the company, which reported a 10% drop in net profit in the second quarter despite an 8% increase in sales.
