Wan Hai Shipping and the National Park Bureau held a tree-planting activity at Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park. Wan Hai involved local clients, suppliers, social welfare groups, and maritime partners to inject green vitality into the harbor city. Initiating the 'Creating Forests of the Sea' afforestation project in 2022, Wan Hai has collaborated with various agencies to plant and care for over 60,000 trees, aiming to contribute to sustainable development and expand the project's influence through tree-planting events. Additionally, Wan Hai aims to plant 5,000 native trees and shrubs at Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park from 2024 to 2028 to mitigate the urban heat island effect and make a positive impact on the city's environment.
