Wang Hongwei questions the accuracy of green camp data to support the review case

Reported about 1 year ago

The Legislative Yuan will vote this Friday (21st) on the parliamentary reform review case brought by the Executive Yuan. Pro-green civic groups are preparing to protest at the Legislative Yuan, while the Kuomintang has applied for a parade permit, calling on supporters of the reform to take to the streets. According to the latest telephone poll by the Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation, 51.9% of the public support the review case proposed by the Executive Yuan, while 33.5% oppose it. However, KMT lawmaker Wang Hongwei questioned the impartiality of some polling agencies and criticized the Democratic Progressive Party's reliance on polls for their decisions. The latest poll shows that over 52% of Taiwanese adults support the Executive Yuan's review case, with significant differences in attitudes among supporters of different political parties.
