Warren Buffett reveals $600 million of his wealth outside Berkshire Hathaway stock

Reported 9 months ago

Warren Buffett disclosed owning about $600 million in assets separate from Berkshire Hathaway stock, with his Berkshire A shares comprising 99.5% of his net worth. The remaining portion likely resides in his private portfolio of stocks and bonds. Buffett recently donated $5.3 billion in shares to charitable foundations, totaling $55 billion over the past 18 years. His personal wealth also includes $1 million in Berkshire's B shares and an estimated $1.4 million home in Omaha. The financial guru's other assets and investments are significant, possibly accounting for the majority of his non-Berkshire wealth and enabling him to sustain his lifestyle without liquidating Berkshire shares.
