A McLaren supercar owner in Taichung, Taiwan, parked his car in the middle of the road while drunk, refused a breathalyzer test, and fled the scene, leaving the police unable to locate him for nearly 6 hours. Due to the car's model, a McLaren 570s, which could be damaged if forcibly towed without unlocking, the police waited for the owner to return to unlock the car and allow it to be towed. The owner, a restaurant and bar owner, was eventually found and the car was successfully towed. The police plan to fine him NT$186,000 under traffic regulations.
