Wendy's Company announced a net income of $55.1 million for Q2 2025, a 0.9% increase from $54.6 million last year, driven by higher operating profits despite a 1.7% decline in total revenues to $560.9 million. Global systemwide sales also decreased by 1.8%, primarily due to lower same-restaurant sales in the U.S. The company expanded its footprint, adding 26 new restaurants, and reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.29, up by 7.4%. Interim CEO Ken Cook highlighted the ongoing challenges in the U.S. market while expressing optimism about international growth.
