According to Yahoo News, the Central Weather Bureau has issued a heavy rain alert due to intense convective cloud development, with Changhua experiencing heavy rain. Miaoli and Taichung mountainous areas may have local heavy rain or downpours, while Taipei and areas north of Tainan are at risk of localized heavy rain and thunderstorms. Watch out for lightning, strong gusts, landslides, and flooding in low-lying areas. Heatwave warnings are in place for various regions, with Pingtung reaching 38 degrees Celsius, while Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung, and others may experience temperatures above 36 degrees Celsius.
