As the parliamentary reform reconsideration motion is set for a vote on the 21st, DPP caucus leader Ker Chien-ming calls for support from the opposition, while KMT caucus leader Fu Kun-chi urges the 'Six Gentlemen,' referencing the Wuxu Reforms and encouraging heroes within the DPP to rebel. Fu mentioned the historical 'Wuxu Six Gentlemen' who supported political reform in China, drawing parallels to the current situation where ideals of the DPP have allegedly turned to deception and corruption. Fu laments that of the original 'Six Reformers' from 1993, only Ker Chien-ming remains in the legislature, questioning the integrity and spirit of the DPP. He calls on the party's members to rise up and bring back the essence of reform for Taiwan.
