During a baseball game between Uni-President Lions and CTBC Brothers at Taipei Dome, a controversial decision and dispute over a 'missing ball' incident involving a white seat on the outfield bleachers arose, with the Uni-President Lions coaching staff questioning whether the ball was lost due to the white seat. Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an responded, stating that the white seats had been installed before July 2022 during the term of former Mayor Ko Wen-je, with the city government requesting the Dome's operators, Farglory Group, to make improvements. Chiang Wan-an also mentioned measures taken to address the issue, including inviting MLB field expert Chad Olsen to inspect the dome and suggesting adding seat covers to prevent similar disputes.
