The World Health Organization and Eli Lilly caution against counterfeit versions of popular weight-loss and diabetes medications. Fake semaglutide in Novo Nordisk's Wegovy and Ozempic and phony tirzepatide in Lilly's Mounjaro and Zepbound are being circulated online. Patients are advised to obtain prescriptions from licensed physicians and to avoid purchasing medications from unknown sources to ensure their safety.
