A dispute over a priority seat on the Taipei MRT escalated into a bloody confrontation at the Fu-Xing-Gang Station, where a tired woman named Lin refused to give up her seat and ended up in a physical altercation with a man and a woman who demanded she give it up. The incident resulted in Lin emotionally breaking down and repeatedly hitting her head on a station pillar, causing her to bleed. The man involved insists that Lin should have given up the seat, claiming his actions were justified. Although police arrived at the scene, both parties involved have chosen not to press charges at this time.
