On June 12, around 4:50 pm, a 47-year-old woman surnamed Li collapsed at the Hukou service area in Taoyuan City. Despite the companion calling the fire department for an ambulance, Li had lost consciousness. Fortunately, officers from the National Highway Police Bureau's Second Highway Police Detachment in Yangmei, Captain Cai Guocheng and Liu Yunjia, happened to be patrolling nearby and performed CPR on Li under the guidance of the fire department over the phone. She regained consciousness after the rescue and was taken to the hospital with no major issues. The family expressed gratitude towards the police for their prompt actions.
