A woman in Xinying, Tainan, attacked a female police officer on June 20, 2024, after being stopped for riding a scooter while wearing a baseball cap. The woman refused to comply with the inspection and physically assaulted the officer before being subdued by the arriving backup police force. The incident resulted in the woman being charged with obstruction of justice and transferred to the Tainan District Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
