According to data on the issuance of Employment Gold Cards categorized by age, individuals aged 35 to 39 received the highest number at 1,925, accounting for approximately 20% of the total. Those over 30 and under 44 made up over half of the cases, about 56%, indicating a focus on younger adults. The statistics reveal the age group of prime workforce age receives a higher retention rate in Taiwan, demonstrating the government's efforts to attract international talents to enhance the labor force. Gender disparities were notable, with 7,970 males compared to only 1,694 females among the 9,664 individuals, both age groups concentrated between 30 and 49. Male professionals were primarily in economics, followed by technology and education, while females were mostly in economics, then education and arts/culture. Besides traditional fields, digital domain Employment Gold Cards have been added in response to the digital era.
