Recently, Wu Kang Ren was reported by a weekly publication for pointing out Chai Zhiping's company on his personal Facebook, revealing that he had rejected the offer to join the Taiwanese version of 'Our Blues Time' early on, which unexpectedly led to the suspension of the show. His girlfriend, Shao Yuwei, responded at the premiere of 'Urban Fear Collection' by saying, 'I think this is something you should ask him about.' Chai Zhiping clarified that the show's delay was for better preparation and stressed that if anyone should bear responsibility, it would be her. Shao Yuwei denied Wu Kang Ren's claim of being asked to inspect her body nude during a previous film production, stating that they had never discussed such matters before as they did not know each other at that time.
