Taiwanese-Japanese baseball player Wu Nianting signed a 3.5-year, 36 million contract with TSG Hawks after being selected in the first round of the CPBL draft on the 28th and completing the signing process on the 29th. He will wear the number 67 jersey and might debut as early as tomorrow, playing against Fubon Guardians. The Hawks organization announced the contract includes incentives, kept private, and Wu might not start in tomorrow's game but could come on as a substitute in different positions. Wu expressed his desire to play healthily and aim for the championship with the young Hawks team.
