During the premiere of the film 'Spring Walk' at the Taipei Film Festival, actors Xiao Xiang and Yang Guimei, portraying a quarrelsome couple in the movie, both received nominations for Best Actor and Actress at the Taipei Film Awards. Xiao Xiang openly expressed his love for Yang Guimei and mentioned how he fell for her at first sight. Yang Guimei humorously stated that during filming, she would sometimes complain about Xiao Xiang's displeasing face, unintentionally fitting the image of a quarrelsome couple in the film. Both actors were surprised and honored by their nominations and described their on-screen chemistry as unexpected yet gratifying.
