The Taiwan Battery Association's 9th Chairman, Yang Mincong, is set to pass the torch to the 10th term's management team and new chairman on July 18 at the first member assembly held at Ming Chuan University's Innovation Building Auditorium. Under Yang's leadership, the Association has actively promoted international and domestic collaborations in the battery industry and recommended policies to boost the localization of Lithium battery cores, expand emerging applications like electrifying agricultural machinery, and enhance the country's competitiveness. Yang emphasizes the importance of establishing a self-reliant and internationally competitive Lithium battery industry to secure Taiwan's place in this niche market and offers five key suggestions for government support.
