On June 20, 2024, at 8:55 AM, reporter Zhuang Qijun from SET News reported that despite the heavy equipment, the children felt they looked cool. Safari School International Exploration School arranged a one-day police experience outdoor teaching activity where over 40 children and their parents visited the Linkou Police Substation. The police warmly greeted the children, teaching them about road safety, identifying and rejecting drugs and scams, introducing the origin and uses of arm shields, allowing the kids to experience police equipment and large motorcycles. The children enthusiastically asked questions and expressed their desire to become police officers in the future. When they visited the detainment room, the atmosphere made the children a bit scared, but the police quickly explained that it's for lawbreakers, emphasizing the importance of being law-abiding. The children happily agreed. The Linkou Police Substation hopes to educate children through fun experiences, instilling self-protection concepts, fostering respect for the law, and encouraging participation in beneficial activities to prevent involvement in inappropriate places and reduce harm.
