Youth Project Launches Ahead: Da'an Police Substation Cracks Down on Various Cases

In response to the upcoming summer vacation, the youth project has been launched vigorously in Da'an Substation under the Taipei City Government's Police Department. Led by Mayor Jiang Wan'an, a joint inspection operation was conducted at venues where teenagers often gather. From June 28 to June 30 alone, a total of 13 wanted criminals, 11 drug cases involving 11 people, 6 fraud cases involving 7 people, and 11 other criminal cases were apprehended, along with locating 2 missing persons, showing determination in law enforcement for public safety. The project emphasizes environmental purification, prevention of teenage victimization, and expanding awareness, with a focus on cracking down on drugs, gangs, fraud, and cases of child sexual exploitation and sexual images. The police will intensify patrols at places where teenagers gather, such as internet cafes, game centers, KTVs, and nightclubs, to deter illegal activities and educate teenagers on avoiding scams like online shopping and job fraud, ensuring juvenile protection and preventing them from falling into fraud traps during the summer break.
