Despite resuscitation efforts, he was pronounced dead. It was reported that 6 men and 3 women, totaling 9 foreign tourists, were playing at Sailor Stone in Kenting today. Two people were swept away by the riptide, one clinging to a rock and the other, the 22-year-old American man surnamed Luo, went missing. Sadly, he was found unconscious and pulseless, CPR was administered, and he was pronounced dead despite efforts to save him.
