Reported about 1 year ago

Today in Taiwan, most areas are mostly sunny to partly cloudy, with temperatures ranging from 32 to 36 degrees Celsius. Various areas in Taiwan can expect brief showers, local thunderstorms in the afternoon, and the possibility of heavy rain in central and southern areas, Greater Taipei, and northern mountainous regions. The Central Weather Bureau issued orange high-temperature alerts for multiple areas and advised reducing outdoor activities, using sunscreen, and staying hydrated. The weather will remain unstable until Friday, with risks of thunderstorms, particularly in mountainous regions. Meteorologist Wu Derong warns of intensified afternoon convection due to a low pressure system, highlighting the need to beware of sudden heavy rains causing flooding on flat terrain and risks of landslides and debris flows in mountainous areas.
