In May, Taipei City's Health Bureau inspected 52 fresh fruits and vegetables with residue testing, finding 12 products did not meet the standards. Among the establishments where non-compliant products were found were Xin Ye Taiwanese Vegetables at the Xinyi New Life Square A9, Breeze Supermarket Nan Shan Branch, and Mei Fu Food Collection. Violations included exceeding acceptable levels of pesticides such as Mandipropamid and Oxathiapiprolin. The Health Bureau emphasized the importance of proper pesticide use to reduce residue levels and ensure food safety.
