An industry revolution is underway with AI advancements leading to concerns about job displacement, as a survey by job-seeking website reveals that 89.6% of workers worry about being replaced by AI before retirement. The study identifies the top 6 jobs at highest risk of disappearance as ticket sellers, customer service representatives, production operators, translators, journalists, and bank tellers. Companies are also increasingly considering automation or AI for production and services, with a significant percentage planning or in progress. The survey further shows that in future AI workplaces, labor-intensive and knowledge-based jobs are both at risk of being replaced, with emphasis on the importance of human-machine collaboration to leverage each other's strengths in the evolving job market.
