The Ministry of Finance in Taiwan released the latest customs trade statistics on June 7, revealing that in May, exports reached $37.36 billion, showing a 3.5% year-on-year increase, marking seven consecutive months of growth. Information and communication technology products have been a major driver of exports, with traditional industries showing signs of recovery. The trend is expected to continue in June with exports estimated to reach $38.5 billion, a 19% increase year-on-year. Despite uncertainties, the stable global economy, AI, and high-speed computing applications continue to drive export growth.
