The Thirteen Rows Museum is currently hosting the 'Sounds of the Islands - Ancient Island Instruments Exhibition,' showcasing traditional instruments from Taiwan, Southeast Asian islands, Oceania, and Madagascar. The spotlight of the exhibit is the island instruments handmade by museum researcher Peng Jiahong using natural materials like gourds. These instruments reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Austronesian language family, with Peng Jiahong showcasing instruments such as the Oceanic 'Conch Horn,' Hawaiian 'Double Gourd Drum,' 'Gourd Rattle,' and the Filipino 'Bamboo Flute.'
