During a parliamentary inquiry at the Legislative Yuan on June 11, National Development Council Chairperson Liu Jin-Chin stated that the current immigration policies need to be reviewed. He emphasized the need for Taiwan to enhance incentives for attracting overseas technical personnel, suggesting a reevaluation of immigration policies to improve international competitiveness. The National Development Council will coordinate with relevant ministries for comprehensive planning.
