Jeff Bezos has joined Samsung in a $700 million investment in AI chip startup Tenstorrent, which is valued at approximately $2.6 billion. The company aims to challenge Nvidia's dominance in the AI sector by developing more affordable chips based on open-source technology. Founded by semiconductor expert Jim Keller, Tenstorrent has already secured contracts worth nearly $150 million and plans to release AI processors every two years, as it seeks to capture a share of the growing AI market.
