In a bizarre incident in Miao Li, Taiwan, a taxi suddenly caught fire with flames erupting from the central console due to the retrofitting of an Android head unit by a car audio installation worker. The interior and wiring of the car sustained severe damage, and the worker, in an attempt to extinguish the fire, ended up with minor burns on his hands. The incident led to significant damage to the taxi's central console, including the deployment of the airbag. Although the worker managed to put out the fire, the taxi owner might face losses requiring compensation. The local fire department was alerted and arrived at the scene to find the fire already extinguished by the worker, who refused medical treatment for his minor burns.
