A three-car collision occurred on the northbound section at 34.2 kilometers of National Freeway No.1 in Wugu, New Taipei City around 8 p.m. today (10th), resulting in 9 people sustaining minor injuries. The female passenger in the last car reported chest pain after the airbag deployed and was sent to Chang Gung Hospital in Linkou for further evaluation. The exact cause of the accident and liability are still under investigation by the highway police.
