In a recent incident in Hualien city, a pet store on Zhongshan Road caught fire on the evening of June 22, resulting in the complete destruction of five buildings. Unfortunately, a 17-year-old dog perished in the blaze. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire and the aftermath of the tragedy has been revealed. Despite the loss of the pet store and adjacent structures, no human casualties were reported. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
