According to the latest report from CTV News Network on June 14, 2024, at 9:36 pm, a van caught fire for unknown reasons at 7:27 am on the southbound National Freeway No. 1 at 263.9K in Chiayi. The fire department arrived promptly to rescue the 4 people temporarily trapped inside the vehicle, all of whom managed to escape unharmed. The fire was extinguished around 7:50 am, and fire investigators are working to determine the cause. Stay tuned to CTV News Network for further updates.
