Chen Ching-hui exposes 'him' receiving special privilege vaccine, Lin Bing-shu: I'm just a commoner, not that great

Reported 11 months ago

Nationalist Party (KMT) legislator Chen Ching-hui appeared in Taipei District Court for Lin Bing-shu's personal information case. Lin, who assaulted former Green Party legislator Gao Jia-yu and was later exposed by TV personality Zhu Kai-xiang for receiving the vaccine during the pandemic, faced prosecution along with Taipei City Hospital physician Hou Jun-ying, KMT legislator Chen Ching-hui, and Zhu Kai-xiang for violating personal information laws. The court hearing involved Lin defending himself against the trio, with Hou partially confessing, Chen claiming whistleblowing, and Zhu arguing for the public interest. Lin, citing theories from former Chief Justice Wang Zejian's mentor Karl Larenz, mocked, 'Public interest is not defined this way, and I'm just a commoner, not as great as they claim.' The court is set to announce the verdict on August 13.
