The Ministry of Culture's Cultural Heritage Park held an opening ceremony for the entrance symbol and plaza yesterday, integrating artistic creativity with cultural heritage perspectives to shape an open space at the park entrance. The newly unveiled 'River of Light' art piece injects vitality into the park, allowing visitors to experience the connection between the river and urban culture. The opening ceremony featured performances by Malaysian-Taiwanese percussion group 'Zhong Ji Fang' and Taichung University of Education Drum Club, as well as a puppet show led by master puppeteer Chen Xi Huang and three apprentices. The park, located at the historic junction of the Green River Ancient Path in Taichung, showcases rich cultural heritage and urban memories.
