The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has initiated island-wide propagation activities this weekend to directly explain to the public the reconsideration proposed by the Executive Yuan on the amendments to certain articles of the 'Legislative Powers Exercise Act' and 'Criminal Code,' recently passed by the Legislative Yuan. President and DPP Chairman Lai Ching-te emphasized the importance of defending the ruling party's commitment to the Constitution, respecting the rule of law, and safeguarding democratic constitutionalism to seek the greatest support of the people. The propagation actions aim to unite Taiwan and deepen democracy, not for the benefit of the DPP but for the nation's progress and democratic development.
