A recent study found that drinking over 2 cups of coffee a day can reduce the risk of early death by 33%. Researchers discovered that office workers who sit for long periods can offset some of the negative effects by drinking coffee for energy. The study also revealed that sitting for over 8 hours a day increased the risk of death by 46%, with a 79% higher risk of cardiovascular disease death compared to those sitting less than 4 hours. Drinking coffee daily has strong anti-inflammatory properties that can counteract the negative effects of prolonged sitting, reducing the risk of death by 33% for all causes and 54% for cardiovascular disease, compared to non-coffee drinkers.
