Due to recent rainfall from the plum rain front, major reservoir catchment areas in Hsinchu, Miaoli, and Taichung have seen an increase in water inflow, leading the Economic Ministry to announce a return to normal water conditions in these areas. The water situation improvement ensures a successful supply for the first-phase rice production, with no concerns over water usage for daily life and industrial needs. Reservoir levels have risen to over 80% in these areas, guaranteeing stable water supply and sufficient reserves for public use for over three months.
