In Changhua County, Taiwan, where temperatures reached 36 degrees Celsius, a 75-year-old man surnamed Zhang collapsed due to the extreme heat, with his body temperature soaring to over 40 degrees. Passersby immediately alerted the fire department when they saw him lying on a resident's porch. Paramedics arrived to find the man unconscious and rushed him to Yuan Rong Hospital for emergency treatment. While he has since regained consciousness, he remains hospitalized for observation. Doctors advise staying in cool, shaded areas, wearing loose, breathable clothing, and avoiding strenuous activities in high temperatures.
