During the Executive Yuan's presentation at the Legislative Yuan, Economic Affairs Minister Guo Zhihui stated that electricity interruptions have decreased by 70%, attributing the perception of more frequent outages to increased media coverage. He reassured that there would be no power shortage in the future, despite concerns over the decommissioning of the nuclear power plant. Guo also mentioned plans for power supply adjustments to accommodate the shutdown of the plant, emphasizing that measures are in place to prevent outages for critical facilities.
