First Appearance in Custody! Yu Tian's Son-in-law Requests Bail While Continuing Detention and No Visits

On June 26, 2024, at 8:37 am, TVBS news website reported that Chen Jian, the son-in-law of Yu Tian accused of being a driver for a fraud group, appeared in court for the first time since being detained. With long hair and a haggard appearance, he denied the accusations, claiming he was only collecting money as asked by friends. He hoped to be granted bail to return home to see his family, but the judge ruled to continue detention and no visits.
