Former Taiwan Stock Exchange-listed company Kangyou-KY, involved in a 2020 embezzlement case totaling 20.16 billion, had its chairman Huang Wenlie flee the country and was arrested in Thailand last year. After a year of trial, Huang was sentenced today to 25 years in prison and fined 2 million NT dollars for securities-related crimes.
