TVBS' news website reported on June 13, 2024, at 3:02 AM that Legislative Yuan Speaker Han Kuo-yu convened a consultation with both ruling and opposition parties to discuss a reconsideration motion. The process escalated into a quarrel, with Han Kuo-yu, the meeting chair, not only slamming the table but also storming out of the room in anger. After nearly two hours of intense debate, it was decided that a full committee of the legislature would be convened on June 19 and 20, with an invitation for Premier Cho Jung-tai to attend and explain, followed by a vote on June 21.
