Hong Kong Actor Louis Koo Faces Lawsuit for Unpaid 10-Year-Old Debt of 35 Million New Taiwan Dollars

Hong Kong actor Louis Koo, known for his philanthropy, is currently embroiled in a scandal involving an unpaid debt of 35 million New Taiwan dollars that has been outstanding for ten years. The debt stemmed from a fashion brand and restaurant business investment made in 2013 and 2014 with former Sun Entertainment Culture chairman Tang Chai-chi. Tang claims that Koo borrowed 8.3 million Hong Kong dollars at the time but has not repaid the loan since. Koo has not yet responded to the lawsuit filed against him by Tang in the Hong Kong High Court.
