In Suzhou, China, on June 25, a Japanese mother and child were reportedly attacked by a Chinese man on a school bus, leading to injuries. Despite the victims not being in critical condition, another Chinese woman working on the bus was seriously injured. While the incident prompted local Japanese schools to enhance security measures, Chinese media outlets refrained from reporting, possibly under orders from the authorities. The Japanese Consulate in Shanghai requested vigilance, and the incident reflects heightened anti-Japanese sentiments in China.
