A traffic accident occurred in Kaohsiung's Gushan District when a garbage truck in front changed lanes, causing two motorcycles behind to collide into a mess due to not keeping a safe distance. The 60-year-old female rider slowed down upon seeing the garbage truck braking, leading to the 26-year-old male rider behind unable to evade in time and rear-ending her. Both parties fell to the ground with minor injuries. Police indicated that the cause was the male rider's failure to maintain a safe following distance, while further investigation is needed to determine the detailed cause and liability of the accident.
