Ku Shu-hui Accuses Jinghua Cheng Case of Anomalous Fund Flows, Strongly Countered by People First Party: Maliciously Defaming

Reported about 1 year ago

FTNN News Network reported on June 14, 2024, that Ku Shu-hui, the convener of the Taipei City Council's Jinghua Cheng case investigation team, publicly accused the team of finding inappropriate information related to the fund flows of the case and privately suggested that the city government report to the Clean Government Agency. The People First Party spokesperson, Wu Yi-xuan, protested vigorously against these claims, urging Ku Shu-hui not to hide behind freedom of speech protections, wander in gray areas, maliciously throw dirt, which is unhelpful for clarifying the situation and stains her reputation as a legislator. Wu Yi-xuan criticized Ku Shu-hui for injecting personal opinions after meetings and creating sensationalism. The People First Party strongly refuted Ku Shu-hui's statements and highlighted their attendance at the meeting. They criticized Ku Shu-hui for tarnishing the party's image and behaving inappropriately.
